She is a renowned linguistics professor but her life changes when she starts to forget words. She has received a diagnosis of Early-Onset Alzheimer’s Diseases. It is then when the bond of Alice and her family goes through the thick and thin and is thoroughly tested. The struggle of this woman is heartbreaking and frightening. The movie is about her continuous struggle to stay connected with the people she was always connected and with the people who matters to her. The movie is based on the novel by Lisa Genova which was 2007’s best seller novel of the same name. The character Alice is played Julianne Moore which is the main character of the movie. The film is loved by the audience as it is a heart touching story of emotions, life and fate. Directed by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland this film is an enormous piece of amazing direction.
The Release and Response – Splendid
Still Alice is an independent and relatively small film as compared to the rest of the hits this year. The Response was amazing as Julianne Moore as Alice in the movie played the role amazingly which drove in the heavy number of audiences and fans to the theaters. The overall story of the film was told in the method of a storyteller rather than a filmmaker.

With a production budget of $5 million, Still Alice which is being called the Oscar contender earned $5 million according to Box Office Mojo. The film did not gross much high numbers but the appreciation it got was tremendous.
