About the Movie: The Lazarus Effect is about the medical researcher Frank played by Mark Duplass and his fiancee Zoe played by Olivia Wilde. Both of them along with their team have achieved something beyond the understanding of a common person. They have figured out the way to revive the dead. An unsanctioned experiment on a lifeless animal went successful and now after they have gained full confidence about their work, they are ready to make their work public. But the story takes a turn when their dean shuts them down after learning what they have done meanwhile Zoe is killed during an attempt to recreate the experiment which leads to Frank testing the process on her. Surprisingly Zoe is revived but what happens to her and to all the people around her is a thrilling and breathe taking story.
Editor’s Comments: Directed by David Gelb, the film is an amazing thriller. It is not the typical zombie kind of the film but has something unique in its story that will attract the audience and horror genre fans. The expectations are good but in this era of movies where everyone loves to watch something bigger scale and high in designs, this film gets into the hearts of audience or not is a question mark.
