About the Movie: There are two sides to every love story which is what this film depicts. Based on the musical play by Jason Robert Brown, this movie is a great adaptation of musicals which is very different and fresh. The film is about a struggling actress played by Anna Kendrick and a very successful writer played by Jeremy Jordan and they both sing about their failed marriage but from very different perspectives. What they perceive from their love affair is different and shows a different perspective to the audiences. Their love story, the struggle and deconstruction is told entirely through songs which are going to melt the hearts of the audience and for sure is an entertaining piece.

Editor’s Comments: The Last Five Years is not just the musical depiction of feelings and perspectives but also consists of the non-verbal drama between the two characters of the film. The film is an entirely fresh production which blends in the expressive voices and strong facial expressions to create the strong and intense feel for the audience.
