About the Movie: The movie revolves around two guys Dave Skylark (James Franco) and Aaron Rapaport (Seth Rogen). Skylark is the host of “Skylark Tonight”, a talk show and Rapaport is the show’s producer. The show is full of humor as it finds out the different funny aspects of others’ life. But what happens after 1,000 episodes of foolish celebrity coverage, he figures out that he wants to be taken seriously. In the effort to be seriously famous he sets up an exclusive interview with the dictator and a supreme leader of North Korea as Skylark finds out that he is a very big fan of his show. This gives him the opportunity to transform his image by associating himself with the real life heroes. But the twist in the story shows up when CIA finds out about this interview and they ask Skylark and Rapaport to assassinate the dictator, Kim Jong-un. The film is hilarious as the situations and the whole of scenarios will for sure make you laugh. But unfortunately there has been a lot of controversies about the film as North Korea has taken the film as “an act of war” and threatened “resolute and merciless” response if the film was released. This film I hope gets its way through the audiences’ hearts as its pure comedy and nothing related to social security threat.

Comments: The film was set to release in October but after the harsh reactions from North Korea film’s release was delayed till Christmas as Sony is making minor digital alterations in the film. The film once released will clear all the controversies as it’s a clear comedy to enlighten its audience with fun and laughs.
