About the Movie: The movie revolves around the tragedies of lives that change the lives of people. In this film you would see Jennifer Aniston playing the role of a woman Claire, who is suffering from terrible chronic pain. She has nothing left to loose in her life and is being surly to all the people around her, even her husband played by Chris Messina, her support group leader played by Felicity Huffman, and her housekeeper played by Silvana. She is also obsessed by a woman in her support group who committed suicide and sees her visions. In the effort to investigate about her, she develops an unexpected relationship with that woman’s husband played by Sam Worthington. The overall feel of t film is intense and deep. Apparently the script is strong but because it is too intense, mostly moviegoers might avoid to watch it as most of them would love to watch an entertainment movie rather than a film which will lead them t realize harsh realities of lives. But you also cannot deny the fact that Jennifer Aniston whose golden globe nomination has hyped her being the Oscar Cinderella. Jennifer has always done light and pleasing comic roles and stepping into the intense role like in Cake shows her daring nature and passion about growing as an actress. The movie will be a treat to watch as it has all the factors that will get you dragged into the characters and the movie itself.

Editor’s Comments: Cake is movie that gives the audience a feel of connectivity with the characters. The stardom of the film is enough to achieve what it aims to but Oscar nomination is not what proves the acting capabilities of Jennifer Aniston. This film has romance which comes out from the feel and the tragedies of nature that will somehow connect the people.
