About the Movie:  Black or White is the story of grandfather played by Kevin Costner who lost his wife in a car accident, has raised his bi-racial granddaughter Eloise. He lost his daughter too in childbirth. This grief is growing with his life but as he struggles to tone down his grief with the love he possess for his granddaughter. As he struggles with his grief, he suddenly faces another shock when Rowena played by Spencer, the paternal grandmother of Eloise demands her custody and demands that Eloise should be brought up under the care of her father Reggie who Elliot thinks is responsible of his daughters’ death as he is a drug addict and Elliot blames his negligence that led to all the problems. The movie progresses with the custody battle which becomes larger than life. Rowena is an African American who fights the battle but this movie moves to another direction when it shows the struggle of a broken man. It becomes intense by showing his bitterness, blame and racial tension who learns to forgive.

It contains the spices of joy and sadness of life and the intensities. It shows the side of the world that is not Black or White but there are some things in life that are Grey.
